Metalab Horse

i just ordered these http://www.horseloverz.com/Metalab-Polymer-Light-Stirrups—Black—4-34-pr-340140.html
has anyone used them before? they are in my price and size range. my horse is super cold sensitive and the previos owner said he hates to feel of steel stirrups in the winter (it gets really fraking cold here). the reviews said that they hold up in the cold pretty good. i’m worried about them stretching or breaking. there arn’t for my show saddle, just for my schooling wintec.
Personally I can’t stand polymer stirrup irons. In my opinion they look tacky and are way too light.
I bought a pair when they first came out and got rid of them a week later.
If your horse is sensitive to the cold steel I would suggest making a pair of Stirrup Iron socks. Get a small piece of polor fleece or similar material that will fit around the side of the iron. Use velcro to secure it and presto. You can use the same irons year long and not have to worry. Plus if it gets wet or dirty just take it off and wash it, but have a few spare incase.
I used a similar concept when making reflective gear for hacks.
If you can try cancel the order.
